The African Democratic Congress Demands Independent Probe into Physiotherapist's Death

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has demanded that the federal government launch an independent investigation into the death of Mary Habila, a physiotherapist who was found dead at the Ebonyi residence of Minister of Works David Umahi. The ADC also asked Umahi to step aside until the investigation is complete.

According to reports by Daily Post Nigeria, Habila's death in Umahi's home has sparked national attention and prompted calls for transparency. The ADC stated that questions about why Habila was at the residence and what led to her death have gone unanswered. The party emphasized that an investigation completely removed from executive control is necessary.
