Sokoto ADC Chooses Illela/Gwadabawa Representative for Deputy Governorship Bid
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has chosen Bello Ambarura, a seasoned representative of Illela/Gwadabawa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, as its deputy governorship candidate for the 2027 election. According to reporting by Daily Post Nigeria, this move comes after extensive consultations with party members and aligns with ADC's commitment to good leadership.
Ambarura will run alongside MANIR MUHAMMAD DAN-IA, the party’s gubernatorial candidate, in Sokoto State in 2027. He has a robust background, having served as Permanent Secretary and Commissioner for Commerce and Industries before being elected to represent Illela/Gwadabawa Federal Constituency since 2019.
