Governor Ademola Adeleke Alleges Rigging Threat from APC Minister, Days Before Governorship Election
Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of attempting to rig his August 15 governorship election. In a statement signed by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, Adeleke said that APC Minister Adegboyega Oyetola had issued what he described as an 'open threat' against a free and fair poll.
Oyetola had previously urged Adeleke to prepare for defeat in the gubernatorial contest, suggesting that even his endorsement of President Bola Tinubu would not save his administration.
