Pirelli confirms Belgium GP tyre strategy

For the upcoming Belgian Grand Prix (Round 10 of the F1 season), Pirelli has revealed the tyre compounds that will be in play. The hard, medium and soft C2, C3 and C4 compounds have been selected respectively.

Teams must use two sets of hard tyres (marked white), three sets of mediums (yellow) and eight sets of softs (red). Additionally, drivers can rely on the green intermediates when needed and the blue full wets for heavy rain. An extra set of softs is reserved for those who reach Q3 in qualifying.

Pirelli states: Drivers must use at least two different slick compounds to ensure a competitive race if it remains dry.
