The Carolina Panthers have signed former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Kyle Trask as their third backup quarterback. The move comes after Haynes King, an undrafted rookie out of Georgia Tech, strained his hamstring and will miss the upcoming game against the Buffalo Bills.
Trask is familiar with offensive coordinator Brad Idzik from their time at the Buccaneers. Trask has limited game experience, with only 11 career pass attempts.
