CR7 Produces, Stars in New Football Agent Drama
Cristiano Ronaldo is set to produce and star alongside acclaimed actor Damian Lewis in a new TV show called 'Day 1s,' focusing on the world of football agents. The project is backed by Ronaldo's UR•Marv Studio and directed by Matthew Vaughn, known for his work with Kick-Ass and Kingsman.
As a film lover turned renowned star, this marks Ronaldo’s first substantial acting credit outside of promotional films. The series, to be shot in London at Barnet FC stadium, sees Damian Lewis take the lead as Stanley Dalton, a fictional UK-based football agent. Real-life football agent Darren Dein developed the script with renowned footballer Thierry Henry joining.
This move into new media ventures is an exciting chapter for Ronaldo, who recently returned from a disappointing World Cup campaign with Portugal.
