Nigerian Star to Enter Film Industry as Actor and Producer
Famous Nigerian singer Davido has revealed his plans to join the movie industry. The 'OBO' crooner, who has already produced two movies and shot a documentary, wants to act in films at some point in the future.
Davido spoke with Vibe Q, stating his intention to get more involved in the film industry as both an actor and producer. “I want to start acting soon,” he said. “God has blessed me with an amazing career and fans; music is what I love but it evolves just like technology.”
I Want More Involvement in Films
Davido disclosed his interest in adding acting to his repertoire, noting that artists need to keep evolving and exploring. “I have invested in two movies already as an executive producer,” he added, emphasizing his proactive approach to the industry.

Beyond his plans for the future, Davido is also preparing a documentary that will be released soon.
