Two Men Arrested in Major Gun and Cocaine Seizure Operation in Delta State
The Delta State Police Command has arrested two men after they were caught with two pistols, cocaine, and other illegal goods during a stop-and-search operation near Agbarho–Warri Road. The arrests occurred on Saturday as part of ongoing efforts to combat the proliferation of illegal arms and drug-related crimes in the state.
According to SP Bright Edafe, Public Relations Officer for the Delta State Police Command, operatives of the Safer Highway Patrol halted a car carrying the suspects. The suspects were identified as Omini Ezeri (46) and Chinedum Wagbara (42), both residents of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

A thorough search of the vehicle, a grey Mercedes-Benz ML SUV with registration number AAA 604 JZ, led to the recovery of two locally fabricated Beretta pistols loaded with nine rounds of live ammunition. Additionally, authorities found approximately 200 grams of substance suspected to be cocaine, one walkie-talkie, one dagger, one grinder, and two sophisticated phones.

The suspects are currently in custody pending further investigation. A third occupant who managed to flee the scene is still being sought by law enforcement officials.
