Fast Times for Leclerc, Hamilton Struggles
Charles Leclerc topped both practice sessions on Friday at the Hungaroring, marking Ferrari as the team to beat. The Monegasque driver nearly lost his car in the final corner but managed a significant improvement over teammate Mick Schumacher.
In contrast, Lewis Hamilton faced issues with gear shifts in FP1 and spun out while attempting a late corner. However, he had a more successful day in FP2, beating team mate Lando Norris to top position by just under ten-thousandths of a second.
