Investigation Reveals Widespread Issues with Self-Service Kiosks at Michigan Assembly Plant
Ford has fired several employees for accidentally stealing paid-for snacks, a situation the company is now investigating.
According to reporting by Dexerto - Esports & Gaming, it started when Kurt Kromm, an 11-year Ford veteran, was wrongly accused and lost his job. Despite proving he had spent $1.95 on cookie, his case highlights ongoing issues with the company's self-service kiosks.
“We have invested significantly to upgrade our workplaces, including self-serve kiosks operated by Aramark,” Dave Tovar, a Ford spokesman, told the Detroit Free Press. Ford is working closely with Aramark to address these issues but many employees are still skeptical about the system's reliability.Vault Kiosks Freeze Mid-Transaction: Common Issues Reported by Workers
