Hungary saw another tough weekend for Haas drivers, with both Ollie Bearman and Esteban Ocon struggling to add points. After their poor qualifying positions, they dropped further in the race, leaving fans and the team questioning what went wrong.
According to reporting by Formula 1 (site oficial), Bearman was blunt about his disappointment: 'I lost all level of confidence in the car. I haven’t done a lap this weekend and felt good in the car. We think we understand why but we have to look long and hard through things over the summer break.'
Haas faces an uphill battle after Bearman's strong starts faltered at the beginning of the season.Ocon admitted that performance still needs improvement, despite a more consistent weekend: 'We need to put more performance on the car. The team will be working hard and there are positives to take away from this weekend.'
