Hamilton Welcomes Golden Retriever Puppy Halo During F1 Summer Break
Lewis Hamilton has adopted a new golden retriever, named Halo, during the Formula One summer break. The seven-time champion acquired Halo from US-based breeder Goldiva Goldens to console himself after the passing of his beloved English bulldog Roscoe in September 2022.
Halo is Hamilton’s first canine companion since the loss of Roscoe. The golden retriever is an ideal choice for Hamilton, known for his love and respect towards dogs. To help care for Halo, Hamilton has enlisted Kirstin McMillian, a Los Angeles-based dog trainer and behaviorist, to guide him through their new relationship.
Halo’s arrival serves as both a celebration of summer break and a tribute to Roscoe, highlighting Hamilton's deep bond with his pets.
