The British star remains optimistic despite continuous injuries.

British tennis player Jack Draper, who has faced a series of setbacks due to injuries this year, shares an emotional message on social media about his ongoing journey. Most recently, he had to withdraw from the Mubadala DC Open just 24 hours before his scheduled match against Alex Michelsen after his forearm injury flared up again.

Draper, who managed to play only 13 matches in 2026 and slipped outside the top 100 in the ATP Rankings, remains positive despite these challenges. In a heartfelt Instagram post, he wrote: 'Finding acceptance and being patient with the process has been my biggest challenge, but I know I’m getting closer to where I want to be!!'

Previous Setbacks

In just the past few months, Draper has faced repeated injuries that have kept him out of several high-profile tournaments. A knee injury at the Barcelona Open forced him to miss the clay swing, including Roland Garros, and a recent run to the semi-final in Eastbourne also had to be called off due to his arm condition.

Upcoming Challenges

The upcoming Canadian Open, Cincinnati Open, and US Open do not feature Draper on their entry lists. However, he has entered the Brownsburg ATP 75 Challenger, which starts on August 10. Depending on recovery from his latest injury, his participation in this tournament remains uncertain.
