Kano Appoints Over 8,000 Teachers to Bolster Education Sector

Kano State Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf recently presented appointment letters to 8,588 new teachers, with the goal of enhancing educational growth in northern Nigeria. The official ceremony took place at Sani Abacha Stadium's Indoor Sports Hall and aimed to mark an important milestone in the state’s educational reform efforts.

The appointment letters were given to 4,900 newly recruited primary and secondary school teachers alongside 3,688 ABBA Gida-Gida BESDA teachers. Kano State has prioritized education as a key development area, with Governor Yusuf making significant investments in schools and teacher recruitment.
