F1 star Lando Norris is slamming the sport's new regulations, which he believes are more about boosting profits than enhancing racing. The British driver argues that drivers’ opinions have been sidelined in favor of attracting new engine manufacturers.
Speaking on a recent interview with The Guardian - Formula 1, Norris said: 'F1’s gone too heavily led by the fact it’s a business nowadays and not how can you make the sport the best possible. It’s how can you just make the most money as a business and that’s just not what it should simply be.' The new regulations have seen an almost 50-50 split between electrical power and internal combustion, intended to woo brands like Audi in, but leaving drivers frustrated.
