Racing Bulls driver Arvid Lindblad scores a strong points finish in Belgium with new upgrade pack.
Arvid Lindblad used a revamped car for the Belgian Grand Prix, finishing ninth on Sunday at Spa-Francorchamps. The F1 rookie's performance was boosted by a new package from his team, Racing Bulls.
This upgraded configuration, designed specifically for Belgium and thanks to qualifying success over teammate Liam Lawson, helped Lindblad secure valuable points.
In session after session, Arvid felt his car performed at its best,' he stated triumphantly. This marks Lindblad's fifth consecutive finish in the top ten in recent races. However, it’s a bittersweet victory as he was denied P8 due to an Audi driver’s VSC strategy and Bortoleto’s pit stop.
Lindblad’s Next Goal: Budapest
Looking ahead, Lindblad expects the upgrade package to be even more powerful at the Hungarian Grand Prix this weekend. Both he and his teammate Liam Lawson will be given the identical specification going forward.
