Major Changes as The Hundred Teams Get New Owners, Logos and Players
The 2026 edition of The Hundred begins with significant changes after a major financial investment from new owners. Eight out of eight teams now have new management partners involved in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Notable examples include Todd Boehly's involvement as co-owner of the Trent Rockets and partnerships that link to IPL clubs directly, such as Sunrisers Leeds, MI London, and Manchester Super Giants. Team names and kit designs have been updated to align with these new affiliations.
New ownerships also bring in new talent:- Harry Brook at £460,000 and Phil Salt at £450,000 from England’s white-ball stars;
- Jofra Archer, Jamie Smith and James Coles in key roles for Sunrisers Leeds, Southern Brave, and London Spirit respectively.
