Precision airstrikes target suspected terrorist infrastructure
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has destroyed a terrorist enclave in Gezuwa general area of Borno State during precision airstrikes conducted on July 10. According to information disclosed by Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, the NAF's Director of Public Relations and Information, intelligence confirmed the presence of terrorist structures and logistics hubs before targeted strikes neutralized several insurgents.
This operation is part of ongoing efforts by the Nigerian military to degrade the operational capabilities of such groups. Intelligence reports suggested renewed activities in Yaganari, leading to the decision for a preemptive strike after credible information. Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke: 'The continued professionalism and devotion from personnel are crucial in maintaining security.'
