Nigerian Troops and DSS Arrest Four Suspected Terrorist Collaborators in Kogi State

Security forces have apprehended four individuals suspected of working with terrorist groups, according to a report shared on X. The incident took place at Light Hotel along the Odumo-Kabba Road in Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area.

The operation was conducted by troops affiliated with the 12 Brigade and Department of State Services (DSS). A security analyst, Zagazola Makama, reported that credible intelligence linked these suspects to activities involving terrorist elements. The exact time of the arrest is at 12:11 p.m. on Monday.

“These arrests are part of an ongoing mission by security agencies to disrupt support networks for terrorists,” asserted Makama in a post, underscoring the commitment to public safety across Kogi State and its surrounding areas.

A Joint Operation

The cooperation between troops based at Kabba Patrol Base and DSS operatives came after detailed intelligence work conducted by security analysts. The suspects were handed over to the DSS for further investigation, with the aim of providing a strong counter-terrorism stance within the region.
