Nigerian Boxer Moses Itauma Set to Challenge for IBF Title Against Filip Hrgovic

Fast-rising Nigerian-born heavyweight boxer, Moses Itauma, is tipped by his manager Frank Warren to surpass the achievements of two-time former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. This prediction came as Itauma prepares to step into the ring at London’s O2 Arena for his 15th professional bout on August 29, targeting the International Boxing Federation (IBF) belt.

The expectations are high for Britain's best boxer of 2025 as Itauma faces a significant opponent in Filip Hrgovic. According to Frank Warren, promoter and father figure: “It’s part of his journey. This is the journey and it's got to be four or five years in front of where AJ was at this particular time in his career fighting for a title.”

“We’ve been investing in him since he was 16,” Warren added, emphasizing their commitment to Itauma's development.
