McLaren's Norris Secures Hungry GP Victory

Lando Norris emerged victorious in the Hungarian Grand Prix, leading a Mercedes vs. Red Bull duel for the podium spots. Though his team-mate Oscar Piastri led early, gearbox failure forced him to retire from second place.

Verstappen and Antonelli dueled in the closing laps before Verstappen just held on to secure his first Hungarian GP result since 2019. Meanwhile, Kimi Antonelli extended his championship lead with third place, now 50 points ahead of Lewis Hamilton and 59 ahead of George Russell.

Strategic Gambles Pay Off for Red Bull

The surprise was Verstappen's second-place finish after a strategy gamble paid off. The young Dutch driver out-manoeuvred his Mercedes rivals on the final laps, while Kimi Antonelli's consistency allowed him to extend his championship lead.
