Gwarzo Urges Youths, Women to Register PVC Before July 24

The New Democratic Congress (NDC) governorship candidate in Kano State, Aminu Gwarzo, is urging all eligible residents, particularly young people and women, to register for a Permanent Voter Card (PVC) before the July 24 deadline. This comes as INEC recently launched an online registration portal to make the process easier.

“This new portal removes the barrier of long queues. Our young people, our mothers and sisters can now register at home using their phones or computers,” said Gwarzo in a statement issued by his spokesperson Ibrahim Shuaibu to Punch Nigeria - Sports.

Gwarzo emphasized the importance of voting as a vital way for citizens to express their opinions and influence the country’s democratic future, stating: “The PVC is your power. It is the weapon we have to bring about positive change for our families, communities, and Kano State.”
