Rams Coach Sean McVay Supports Shanahan After Car Crash
Rams head coach Sean McVay has spoken out about his friend Kyle Shanahan's car accident, saying Shanahan is recovering and will be on the road to recovery. According to reporting by ProFootballTalk (NBC Sports), Shanahan suffered a severe concussion, multiple broken bones, and needed 40 stitches on his face after hitting another vehicle.
Shanahan is part of the NFC West Conference alongside McVay, who coaches for the Rams. The two have a contentious relationship with Shanahan’s San Francisco 49ers and McVay's Los Angeles Rams competing often in the regular season and playoffs. McVay and his team have won their only playoff meeting against Shanahan's 49ers.
