Mike Macdonald discusses roster changes ahead of training camp

Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald is optimistic about the team's prospects, emphasizing a fresh approach despite losing several key players. Key contributors like Kenneth Walker III (now with Kansas City Chiefs), safety Coby Bryant (moved to Chicago Bears), linebacker Boye Mafe (to Cincinnati Bengals) and cornerback Rig Woolen (signed by Philadelphia Eagles) are among those who won’t be returning.

Newcomers such as Emanuel Wilson, a former Green Bay Packers player now signed in free agency, rookie Jadarian Price, George Holani and Kenny McIntosh might step in to fill the void. However, the team is particularly focused on Zach Charbonnet's recovery after a torn ACL. Macdonald praised Charbonnet’s commitment during rehab.

Despite a promising rookie campaign cut short by an injury, Horton looks set for a full recovery and has contributed to an already deep receiving corps.

Despite the changes, Macdonald insists they are not starting from scratch
