Sen. Godswill Akpabio: Insecurity Easing As Tinubu Addresses Challenges
Nigerian Senate President Godswill Akpabio has assured citizens that the current security challenges are a thing of the past, as he lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for taking significant steps to tackle the issues. Akpabio made these remarks during his visit with members of the Ladies Golf Association of Nigeria.
Akpabio emphasized that the administration's focus on resolving insecurity has led to positive outcomes, such as the release of abducted schoolchildren in Oyo State.
FUTURE OF SAFETY
“The current administration is doing a whole lot, and I can assure you that very soon, the issue of insecurity would be a thing of the past,” Akpabio said. “Don’t rely on what you hear or see on social media; they are not a true reflection of what is happening in our country.”
UPCOMING TOURNAMENT SUPPORT
Akpabio also expressed his support for the upcoming international ladies’ tournament to be hosted at the IBB International Golf and Country Club in Abuja. He assured members that the Senate would provide full backing.
