Curry Embraces Realism as Warriors Struggle Without LeBron
Despite his optimism, Golden State's star guard Steph Curry has embraced the harsh reality of the team's situation after missing out on acquiring LeBron James this summer. In comments at Moses Moody’s youth camp, Curry acknowledged that he'll be carrying a heavy load next season with key players injured and an uncertain future.
“That’s why you don’t envision anything until it happens,” Curry said. “There’s a lot of moving parts.”
No Future without James?
Curry knows the Golden State roster is thin, at least for now, with Jimmy Butler rehabilitating from an ACL injury and Kristaps Porzingis dealing with his own injuries. The only path forward seems to involve other players getting healthy or re-signing key free agents like Draymond Green.
