Nicolas Szerszen Returns to Ohio State as Assistant Coach
Coach Kevin Burch announced recently that Nicolas Szerszen has rejoined the Ohio State coaching staff. A three-time All-American and two-time NCAA champion, Szerszen brings a wealth of experience to Columbus, returning with the intention of mentoring the next generation of Buckeyes.
“Once a Buckeye, always a Buckeye,” said Szerszen. “I’m honored to return to Ohio State as part of the coaching team and excited to bring my volleyball experience back to the gym.” After competing at the highest levels in Poland for several years, he aims to pass on his skills and knowledge.

Szerszen's tenure with the Buckeyes from 2016 to 2017 included two consecutive NCAA championships. With over 1,678 career kills and 238 aces, he also holds the school record in these categories. Prior to his international stint, Szerszen guided Ohio State to back-to-back titles.
