Titans' Star Jeffery Simmons Ejected for PUNCH During Practice
The Tennessee Titans suffered a setback when star defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons was ejected from Tuesday's practice after he threw a punch at right tackle JC Latham. Coach Robert Saleh made it clear that such behavior will not be tolerated, even in training.
Simmons and center Austin Schlottmann initially got involved in a skirmish during the team drills. But then the defensive tackle took matters into his own hands by lunging at Latham. Coach Smart intervened immediately to pull Simmons away from the fight. When practice was halted, Saleh gathered the players for a talk about the importance of respecting their teammates.
Our policy is if you throw a punch, you're ejected in the game. Same thing with practice,” Saleh said after the incident,
