Tunisian Football Federation Names Moine Chaabani After a World Cup Disaster

After a tumultuous World Cup in which Tunisia struggled, the Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) confirmed on Tuesday that Moine Chaabani has been appointed as the new head coach of the national team.

This marks the fourth coaching change for Tunisia this year and the eighth since January 2024. Chaabani is set to guide the team through a four-year contract, bringing his extensive experience, including African Champions League titles with Esperance Tunis and successes in Egypt and Morocco.

According to reports that had been circulating for several days, Chaabani was under contract at RS Berkane until 2027. The club praised his great professionalism and acknowledged the significance of his role as national team coach.
