South East representative, Ugo Udezue, praised the Nigerian U18 Tigers for their remarkable performance at the FIBA Africa Zone 3 U18 Championship. The team emerged victorious after defeating Burkina Faso with a score of 100-54.

Udezue highlighted that despite this impressive win, which gave them the Zone 3 title and a spot in the upcoming Africa FIBA U18 Championship in Côte d’Ivoire, the team must remain disciplined and committed until their mission is fully accomplished. This comes after the U18 Tigers maintained an undefeated record with perfect scores of 96-35, 101-43 and 98-54.
