The Indiana Fever star narrowly escaped a one-game suspension after an overturned technical foul. Caitlin Clark was awarded the tech late in Saturday’s game against the Chicago Sky, nearly hitting her limit of eight fouls for the season.
Clark played a pivotal role despite the call, pouring in 26 points and dishing out 11 assists, breaking her own single-season WNBA record. The Fever secured a narrow win with a score of 90-86.

In the wake of Clark’s technical foul, Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White was also assessed an automatic tech for arguing with officials. However, the league ultimately rescinded Clark's tech.
